Beulah Fire Protection District

Beulah Fire Protection District and Ambulance District (BFPAD), covering 170 square miles in Pueblo & Custer Counties (Colorado) including the areas of Beulah Hill, Beulah Valley, Canyon Heights, Cedar Grove, Goodpasture, Hogback Mountain, Mount Signal, Pueblo Mountain Park, Second Mace Trail, South Creek, Squirrel Creek, Thompson Ranch, Turtle Buttes & Valley View. Beulah Fire Protection District was formed in 1949 as the Beulah Valley Volunteer Fire Department (BVVFD) and incorporated in 1963. Beulah Volunteer First Aid Service in 1978. In 2007 a election resulted in the Beulah Ambulance District being formed. In 2012, by a two to one margin, voters approved an increase in the mill levy to support merger between the Beulah Ambulance District and the fire department, and the Beulah Fire Protection and Ambulance District was formed, and was implemented in 2013. 

Beulah Fire Protection District is dispatched by the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Communications Center.
