Thornton House Fire

Approximately 07:15 on December 8th, 2019 Thornton Communications Center alerted Thornton Fire Department with auto aid from North Metro Fire Rescue District to a possible structure fire in the 5800 block of E. 113th Circle at Jersey Way. Engine 73 advised that smoke showing from E. 112th Ave. & Holly St. and strike a major incident tone. Squad 73 arrived to smoke showing on the Bravo side from a two-story residential, and Engine 73 arrived and started fast attack in the offensive strategy with the occupants were out of the structure. Squad 73 pulled a pre-connect to the Bravo side, and assigned to start a primary search, which proved an all-clear. Two attack lines were used on the Bravo side of the residence off Engine 73 on tank water. Battalion 71 arrived and assumed command, and assigned Engine 76 to check for extension in the Bravo side of the garage. Engine 63 went on deck on the alpha side, and the fire was contained to the Bravo side of the residence. No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation.
