Fire Prevention is located at 7980 Elmwood Lane. Former North Washington Fire Rescue (Colorado) Station 33 and Adams County Fire Rescue Station 11.

Fire Prevention Bureau

The Fire Prevention Bureau is responsible for the reduction of life loss, personal injury, property damage, and the serious socio-economic impacts of fire within the Adams County Fire Rescue District. The Prevention Bureau is overseen by the Fire Marshal and oversees Fire Prevention, Fire Inspections, and Fire Investigations.

Assigned to Agent Jerry Means and K-9 Riley with the Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control since 2014. The Arson Dog program is funded by State Farm Insurance, and to aid in arson investigations across the United States and Canada. Since the beginning in 1993.
