Annual 9/11 Memorial Ceremony

The annual Broomfield 9/11 Memorial Ceremony was held on September 11th, 2018 at the Broomfield Amphitheater, hosted by North Metro Fire Rescue District, Broomfield Police Department and the City and County of Broomfield. Guest speakers included the family of Colorado native Chris Faughnan, who worked on the 105th floor of the North Tower, right above were the planes impact was into the building, and guest speaker Sharon Robinson, who was the flight attendant for United Airlines, she remembered her friends who were the flight crew on United Flight 93, that was hijacked and crashed into a field in Pennsylvania, during an attempt by the passengers and crew members to regain control of the plane. Also on hand for the ceremony was Mike Gill from Bugles Across America and bagpiper Michael Lancaster.
