CO-DFPC Regional Training Units

The Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control RTO (Regional Training Officer) staff supports and delivers quality training to fire and hazmat personnel across the state of Colorado in hands-on and instructional settings. The section maintains four pieces of training apparatus that are towed to different locations throughout the year to train firefighters, new and seasoned.

In 2021 the DFPC RTO group conducted 96 trainings with 2,787 students using the four apparatus. The group also attended and supported numerous Practicals and Trainings for various certifications.
