Bend Fire & EMS

Bend Fire & EMS (BF&R), established in 1905 and covering 164 square miles in Deschutes County (Oregon) including the areas of Awbrey Butte, Baker Pond, Bend, Cascade Lakes, Cascade Mountains, Cascades Range, Century West, Cline Falls, Deschutes River Woods, Drake Park, Mountain View, Old Bend, Orchard District, Oregon High Desert. Pilot Butte, Powell Butte, River West, Shevlin Park, Skyliners, Summit West, Sundance, Tetherow, Tumalo & Woodside Ranch.

Bend Fire Department is part of the Deschutes County Rural Fire Protection District # 2, and is the largest fire department in Central Oregon. Per the City-District contract, the stations are owned by the District and staffed and equipped by the City.

Bend Fire Department is dispatched by the Deschutes County Communications Agency (DCCA).
