Westminster Structure Fire

On October 24th, 2020 at approximately 00:45 Westminster Fire Department with auto-aid from North Metro Fire Rescue District to a reported structure fire in the 11300 block of W. 107th Ave. Westminster Communications Center advised that Westminster Police officers on scene reporting a garage fire, and a shed in between two homes on fire. Engine 5 arrived on scene with a working fire from a two-story residential, with fire showing on the Bravo-Charlie side with fire between two homes, pulled a 1 3/4 pre-connect for fire attack. Battalion 1 arrived in the offensive strategy. Engine 3 arrived and assigned to pulled a 2nd line in for search and fire control, Medic 3 secured the water supply to Engine 5, and Medic 4 assigned as rehab. Crews worked a vehicle on fire and a fence between the houses. Crews found no fire that extended into the attic, and got control of the fire and started overhaul and the investigation. Firefighters were able to help two family dogs in the back yard to safety.
