Catamount Wildland Fire Training

Between 09:00 and 11:00 on August 12th, 2021 the Colorado Springs Utilities Catamount Wildland Fire Team, gathered at the Pinello Ranch off of Hwy. 85/87 in El Paso County for refresher and orientation training for some of the newer members of the team. On site they practiced hose movements and establishing a water supply via portable pump located on their apparatus. Members were also able to learned about how routine equipment checks are vital to make sure it is in proper working order for when an incident occurs.
