Aurora Ice Rescue Training Aurora Fire Rescue conducted ice rescue training on January 3rd, 2021 at Aurora Reservoir.  Firefighters from Engine 9 and Ladder 13 practiced simulated rescues using ropes, ice rescue suits and rescue boards. Periodic training allows firefighters to appropriately respond to an emergency on ice or in the water.
