On August 4th, 2021 just before 14:45 Pueblo West Fire Department was dispatched to the 300 block of Tejon Lane on a reported structure fire. The caller reported smoke coming from the eaves of the pool house and a possible fire inside. Crews arrived on scene to find smoke pushing from the 30×40 building and determined a working fire. A recall was done by Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Communications Center for additional firefighters. Firefighters off Engine 831 laid a 5″ supply line from the hydrant in the cul-de-sac up the driveway around back to the rear of the home and pulled an 1 3/4 cross lay for fire attack. The first crew made entry to the pool house and began fire attack while the next arriving unit grabbed tools for pulling ceiling. Units were on scene of the fire for over an hour but quickly brought the fire under control. Additional information provided by Code 4 Photography
