Westminster Apartment Fire

On July 23rd, 2021 around 13:40 Westminster Fire Department with auto-aid from Thornton Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 300 W. 123rd Ave. in North Westminster. Westminster Communications Center advised Westminster Police officers on scene reporting a possible explosion from the 2nd floor apartment unit with smoke showing, and started evacuations nearby units. Engine 4 arrived to smoke showing from an apartment complex, established their own water supply and started fire attack with Medic 4. Crews got the fire under control quickly in one unit without any extension into any other units. The fire is under investigation and no injuries were reported.
