Andrew Peery Memorial Procession

On August 15th, 2022, Deputy Andrew Peery was honored with a memorial procession from the New Life Church in Colorado Springs to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office in downtown Colorado Springs. Deputy Peery was killed in the line of duty on August 7th, 2022, when responding to a shooting in the Security neighborhood just south of Colorado Springs. Peery was shot by the suspect, who was then later fatally wounded by a self inflicted gunshot wound. Peery was 39 years old, serving with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office for the last six years, prior served our country with the U.S. Army and worked with the Bakersfield Police Department in California.
