Cimarron Hills Open House

On September 10th, 2022 the Cimarron Hills Fire Department invited community members into the station for their annual open house, as well as to celebrate the department’s 50th anniversary of service. During the celebration, CHFD held CPR demonstrations, fire truck tours, station tours, obstacle courses, a ventilation demonstration, vehicle extrication scenarios, and a forcible entry demonstration. A ceremony was also held to commemorate the anniversary and had key note speakers such as, former Cimarron Hills Fire Chief, William Behan, El Paso County Commissioner Carrie Geitner, and a representative from Congressman Lamborn’s office. The Colorado Springs Fire Department, El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, and the El Paso Teller County 911 Authority also attended the celebration.
