Loveland Pass Avalanche

On March 16th, 2022 at 08:00 Clear Creek Sheriff’s Office Communication Center dispatched units on a reported avalanche in the area of Loveland Pass on Hwy. 6 and mile marker 225. Loveland Pass was closed between Hwy. 6 and I-70 so crews could search the area to make sure nobody was in the avalanche. After an extensive search, the scene was called clear and all units went back in service by 13:45.
