Fort Collins 2nd Alarm

On August 26th, 2022 Poudre Fire Authority responded to a house fire in the 1100 block of Beech St in Fort Collins. Upon arrival, crews found a home with active flames and completed a size up of the fire and quickly engaged in an offensive strategy to control the fire. They were informed by those on scene that all residents were out of the house; however, there was a dog and cat still inside. Firefighters entered the home to provide a search and were able to find and rescue both the dog and cat. After the fire was controlled and loss to the home was stopped crews remained on scene until a restoration company responded to secure the home. The fire cause is under investigation.
