Pueblo West Vehicle Fire

On March 7th, 2022 just before noon Pueblo West Fire Department was dispatched by the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Communications Center to the area of Blueridge Dr. and Birch Hills Dr. on a vehicle fire. Initial information reported a vehicle on fire just a few feet from a residence. Additionally it was learned from other 9-1-1 callers that everyone was out of the house. Before units arrived on scene, a black smoke column was visible across Pueblo West. Engine 831 arrived on scene and sized up a fully involved vehicle that had no extended into the adjacent home. The two firefighters pulled a bumper line and began fire attack. Crews were on scene for just over a half hour knocking the flames down and overhauling the car.
