Westminster Structure Fire

On November 18th, 2022 at 13:32 North Metro Fire Rescue District with Westminster Fire Department and Thornton Fire Department responded to a possible structure fire in the 11500 block of Wadsworth Blvd. Engine 5 arrived to a large three-story apartment building under construction with smoke showing on the Alpha side and pulled an 1 3/4 line to the 3rd floor for fire attack in the offensive strategy with Medic 3. Battalion 61 arrived and assumed command and assigned Engine 61 with the water supply to Engine 5 and Engine 65 to assist with fire attack. Truck 74 arrived and positioned on the Alpha-Bravo side and went to the roof and Medic 64 assigned with medical. The fire was put under control at 13:51 and crews started the investigation and overhaul.
