Poudre Mobile Home Fire

At 13:36 on September 28th, 2023 Poudre Fire Authority was dispatched to a structure fire in the 1600 block of N. College Ave. in Fort Collins. Engine 12 arrived on scene to confirmed a working fire in a single wide mobile home, pulled a 1 3/4 for fire attack in the offensive strategy. Tower 1 started the search and Engine 1 set-up for the water supply. Crews quickly extinguished the fire. One resident and a dog were home at the time and able to exit on their own. The resident used a fire extinguisher which aided in the extinguishment. The resident was transported by UCHealth Medic 210 for potential smoke inhalation.
