Saint Charles Fire

The Saint Charles Fire was first reported on October 14th, 2023 at 18:19 in the Pike-San National Forest & Cimarron and Comanche National Grasslands. Firefighters are working in steep and rugged terrain with the main fuels in mixed conifer. The cause of the fire was determined to be lightning. The fire has burned 492 acres and is 99% containment.
