On April 6th, 2024 before the wind storm came in Boulder County, fire recruits of the (Boulder County Fire Fighter Association) BCFFA FF1 (with some from FF2) academy showed their new skills to their loved ones during family day. They usually get to use live fire during these demonstrations, but do to the windy conditions, they still made their families proud by quickly pulling the hose to the blaze, pulling dummies from the second story, knocking down the fire cones, and making entry to the structure for an offensive attack.
