CONG Hoist Training

The week of August 26th, 2024 the Colorado National Guard (CONG) and surrounding area MRA teams conducted hoist training near the Boulder/Grand County Continental Divide. The rescuers certified as hoist members have years of experience and are very competent in survival and rescue skills in remote areas. Hoist operations are another tool available to rescuers to get help to people in need quicker, where going by foot can take many hours.
