The Front Range Fire Consortium’s (frontrangefireconsortium.org) recruits of Class 2024-1 are in their 5th week of the fire academy. This week the Boulder Battalion of the academy worked on their ladder skills. On March 21st, 2024 the recruits were put through various scenarios around the fire grounds. This involved instructors yelling from windows to be rescued, getting multiple tools to the rooftop, and scaling to the end of a ladder truck.
