Greeley Trapped MVA

On December 16th, 2024 at 22:37 Greeley Fire Department responded to an MVA at the intersection of 18th St. & 6th Ave. Responding units upgraded the MVA to an extrication en route, and additional units were dispatched. were attached and responded to the extrication. Crews arrived on scene and determined this was a rear-end style accident with one party trapped. The single occupant of the red vehicle was quickly extricated by firefighters, and UCHealth EMS assisted with patient care and transported the occupant to the closest trauma center. The driver of the other vehicle was apprehended by Greeley Police Department and transported for medical evaluation. Additional information provided by Greeley Fire Department
