Fort Collins 2nd Alarm Fire

At 14:37 on February 26th, 2024 Poudre Fire Authority and UCHealth EMS responded to reports of a house on fire in the 800 block of Countryside Dr. in Fort Collins. The response was upgraded to a 2nd Alarm as Engine 6 arrived on scene to find a working fire. The occupant was not at home when the fire started and returned to find smoke and fire in the home. The original report of smoke coming from the home was called into 911 by a neighbor. The occupant of the home was evaluated on scene for smoke inhalation by a UCHealth medical unit.
