Academy Hazmat Practical Sable Altura Fire Rescue hosted the East Metro Fire Academy’s Hazmat Practice at their Station in Foxridge Farms on August 2nd, 2025. Recruits were tested on identification, operations, mitigation and decontamination. The Academy graduation is scheduled for August 10th at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds.

Castle Rock Elementary School Fire At 02:10 on August 2nd, 2025 Castle Rock Fire & Rescue Department Quint 151 and Engine 154 were dispatched to a commercial fire alarm at Castle Rock Elementary School, 1103 Canyon Drive.
