 1986 Sutphen 75′ mid-mount aerial 1500 gpm pump with 500 gallon water tank. Former Fort Worth Fire Department (Texas) Quint 4 & Quint 24 and then went to Wells Volunteer Fire Department (Texas) Quint 82. Nicknamed “Big Boy” and the ladder is in memory of Wayne Rush (4812).

Station 1

Former Fire Station was located at 103 E. Parker. The town of Elkhart City Council voted 5-0 to evict the fire department from its city-owned fire station downtown in 2017 and the station was put up for sale. The department and  station was moved to it’s current location in Salmon on Hwy. 287.
