Wheat Ridge Rollover MVA

 On December 19th, 2025 around 21:45 West Metro Fire Rescue responded to a Rollover MVA on Kipling St.at W. 38th Ave. in Wheat Ridge. Crews arrived to a two-vehicle MVA with one vehicle into a tree and power pole with several injuries. Before fire crews arrived Wheat Ridge Police Department officers contacted the suspected of the at-fault driver, who tried to leave the scene before officers took him into custody. The WRPD Crash and Traffic Team initial investigation indicates the suspect driver rear-ended another car near the intersection at a high rate of speed, causing the suspect driver’s vehicle to roll over multiple times. The car came to a rest after hitting a tree and power pole. All passengers of the second vehicle were evaluated by West Metro paramedics on scene. The suspect driver and his passenger were taken to the hospital. That passenger remains in serious condition. The suspect driver was treated at the hospital and placed in custody.
