Colorado Springs Structure Fire

At 16:00 on March 6th, 2026 the Colorado Springs Public Safety Communications Center dispatched the Colorado Springs Fire Department to the 1900 block of Warwick Lane for a possible structure fire. While units were enroute, they observed a large header and confirmed the incident a working fire. On scene, Engine 7 reported heavy fire showing from the residence and began fire attack. Fire crews quickly were able to knock down the main body of fire and continued to search for hotspots. No injuries were reported and the cause of fire was determined to be an improperly discarded cigarette. Additional information provided by the Colorado Springs Fire Department
