Station 53 – Barr Lake

Fire Station 53 is located at 16681 E. 120th Ave. Built in 1983 and remodeled in 2006. Station 53’s first due area surrounds the northern end of DIA (Denver International Airport) and the north end of Commerce City. Former Greater Brighton Fire Protection District (Colorado) Station 53.

(E008) 2022 Pierce Velocity (36414-01) 1500 GPM (Pierce PUC) pump, 750 gallon water tank and 30 gallon foam cell. Triplet to Engine 54 & Engine 55. 

BRUSH 53

(B003) 2009 Ford F-350 4×4 Super Duty 125 GPM pump, 300 gallon water tank and 10 gallon foam cell. Former Attack 53.

TENDER 53

(T004) 2009 Kenworth T800 / Wolverine 500 GPM pump, 3000 gallon water tank and 4000 gallon port-a-pond.

TRUCK 53

2003 Spartan Gladiator / Smeal 75′ rear-mount ladder, 1500 GPM pump, 500 gallon water tank and 30 gallon foam cell. Former Truck 51 and was refurbished in 2013 by SVI. Became a reserve.

ENGINE 53

(E004) 2007 Spartan Advantage FF / Smeal (3522) 1500 GPM (Waterous) pump, 1000 gallon water tank and 30 gallon foam cell. Former Greater Brighton Fire Protection District (Colorado) Engine 53.
