Fountain Fire Department

City of Fountain Fire Department, founded in 1913 covering 25 square miles in El Paso County (Colorado) including the areas of Apple Tree, Aspen Ranch, Ceresa Park, Comanche Estates, Cottonwood Grove, Country Crossing, Countryside, Cross Creek, Cumberland Green, Eagleside, Fountain, Fountain Creek, Fountain Mesa, Fountain Valley, Jimmy Camp Creek, Little Ranches, Mesa Ridge, Metcalfe Park, Pikes Peak Raceway, Riverside, Royalty, Southmoor, Tamarack, Trailside & Wild Oak Farms. The fire district also covers 19 miles of I-25 from mile post 135 south to the Pueblo County line, mile post 116. Fountain Fire Protection District is part of the Southern Colorado (SOCO) Interagency Wildland Team (South Group).
