Brush Volunteer Fire Department (BVFD), covering 215 square miles in Morgan County (Colorado) including the areas of Brush Prairie Ponds, Brush State Wildlife Area, Bunker Hill, Dodd Bridge State Wildlife Area, Gary, Knearl, Morgan County Fairgrounds & Nine Mile Corner. (FDID #08705)

Brush Volunteer Fire Department was established in 1907 as the Brush Hose Cart Company # 1. Brush Fire Department was established in 1911 and the Brush Rural Fire Department was established in 1952.

Brush Volunteer Fire Department is governed by two entities: The City of Brush and the Brush Rural Fire Protection District.

Brush Volunteer Fire Department is dispatched by Morgan County Communications Center.
