Northeast Teller County Fire Protection District (NETCFPD), founded in 1985 and covering 82 square miles in Teller & El Paso Counties (Colorado) including the areas of Aspen Hills, Bluebird Hill, Blue Spring Creek, Broken Wagon Estates, Catamount, Country Ridge, Crestwood Park, Crystola, Flying Cloud, Forest Ridge, Fountain Creek Gateway, Gold Hill Square, Hidden Acres, Johnson’s Hill, Manitou Experimental Forrest, Manitou Park Lake, Morning Sun Solar Community, North Slope Recreation Area, Northwoods, Paint Pony, Pike National Forest, Pikes Peak Ranch Estates, Rampart Range, Ranch Estates, Saddle Club Rodeo Grounds, Shining Mountain, Sugar Pine Heights, Sunny Slope Acres, Sunnywood Manor, Trout Creek, Westwood Lakes, Whispering Winds, Woodland Park & Woodland Valley Ranch. Northeast Teller County Fire Protection District originally founded in 1896 and as the Woodland Park Volunteer Fire Department in 1940. The name was changed in 1971 to the Woodland Park Town & Country Volunteer Fire Department, serving both Woodland Park and surrounding Teller County. On February 6th, 1985 the department becomes the Northeast Teller County Fire Protection District.
