Nunn Fire Protection District, covering 529 square miles in Weld County (Colorado) including the areas of CanAm, Carr, Cloverbloom, Indian Creek Reservoir, Lone Tree, Pelican Cove, Ponnequin Wind Farm & Rockport including 7.5 miles of I-25 and 25 miles of Hwy. 85. (FDID #12363)

Nunn Fire Protection District was first organized on April 5th, 1912 as the Nunn Volunteer Fire Department with the purchase of a brand new chemical cart. The first truck with a high pressure pump was purchased in 1947.  In 1951 the Nunn Fire Protection District was formed.
