Fire Station 1 located at 5901 S. Havana St. and built in 1978. This station is also the former South Metro Fire Rescue (Colorado) Station 31.

1967 FWD (FC4-729) / McDonald (Q-4319) 1000 GPM pump and 500 gallon water tank. Became Engine 4. Nicked-named Elmer “Fud” by the Castlewood firefighters

1976 Seagrave / LTI 85′ rear-mount aerial platform 1250 GPM pump and 350 gallon water tank, also ran as Ladder 1 and Tower 32. This was Castlewood Fire District’s first ladder.
