Operations

North Metro Fire Rescue District’s Operations Division oversees all the day-to-day operations of the fire department including emergency medical services, emergency response and staffing, a budget and special projects. North Metro firefighters respond to more than 10,000 calls annually, with emergency medical services being the majority of the calls.

Fire Prevention Bureau

The Fire Prevention Division partners with residents and businesses to build a safer community. The division handles areas including plan review, inspections, code enforcement, open burn permits, hazardous materials, and fire investigation. Additionally, its fire and life safety education department oversees community outreach to educate residents, young and old, on how to prevent fires and injuries.
