The North Metro Fire Training Center Complex is located at 1006 Weld County Rd. 11 in Weld County and opened in 2008. The Training Center and adjacent Fleet Maintenance Facility sit on 14 acres of land located in Weld County, including an educational facility with four classrooms, three burn buildings, a confined space/trench rescue prop, a hazardous material prop, an extrication yard, and a driving track. In addition, the training ground includes a retention pond capable of delivering water for training evolutions, as well as recycling a majority of the water used and collected from the site.
