Station 2 – Idaho Springs

Fire Station 2 is located at 2000 Colorado Blvd. Former Idaho Springs Fire Department (Colorado) Station 1.

ENGINE 2

2012 International 7400 WorkStar 4×4 / Rosenbauer 1500 GPM pump, 1000 gallon water tank and 20 gallons of foam.

LADDER 2

2008 Smeal Altair MFD (3302) 75′ rear-mount aerial 2000 GPM pump, 400 gallon water tank and 20 gallons of foam.

RESCUE 21

1995 International 4900 / SVI walk-in (Medium Duty Rescue).

ENGINE 21

2018 Ford F-550 4×4 XLT Super Duty / Unruh Type 6 500 GPM pump and 300 gallon water tank. Former Mid-County Fire Protection District (Missouri) Mini-Pumper 4519.

TENDER 2

2000 International 4900 / American Eagle 750 GPM pump and 1800 gallon water tank. Former Tanker 206.

HAZMAT 10

2012 International 7400 4×4 / Rosenbauer 1500 GPM pump, 1000 gallon water tank and 20 gallons of foam.

2009 Dodge Ram 3500 4×4 Type 6 110 GPM pump, 300 gallon water tank and 10 gallons of foam. Former Rescue 2 and Brush 2.

Shown here running as Brush 2. Former Rescue 2. Became a dedicated wildland support engine in 2024 that supports the seasonal mitigation crew and was moved to Station 6.
