Pikes Peak Highway Wildland Fire Team (WLFT) is located In El Paso County (Colorado) and covers the areas of Pike National Forest & Pikes Peak Mountain.

Pikes Peak Highway Wildland Fire Team is also known as the Pikes Peak Wildland Fire Crew and is part of the Pikes Peak Rangers, a division of the Colorado Springs Parks and Recreation Department and made up of the Pikes Peak Highway maintenance team and able to responded to assist in the event of a wildland in the Pikes Peak area. The team also staffs EMT’s and Paramedics at the Pikes Peak Summit house to provide patient care while they wait for AMR

Pikes Peak Highway Wildland Fire Team works with the Pikes Peak Ranger District, El Paso County Wildland Fire Management and the Colorado Springs Utilities – Catamount Wildland Fire Team.
