Fire Station 5 (Mid-County Station) is located at 14908 Hwy. 119, former Station 7 and Colorado Sierra Fire Protection District Station 1.

This building is also part of Station 7, and is located next door and is serviced by 3 residents who live at this building. This is the former Gilpin County Search & Rescue Station which was discontinued by the Gilpin County Sheriff’s Office.
