Red Rocks Community College Fire Science was established in 1969 and it is now almost completely located at the Red Rocks campus in Lakewood; some training exercises are done elsewhere. The program offers an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Fire and Emergency Services as well as Fire Fighter I and Firefighter II certifications. Red Rocks also offers EMT certification.
