Twin Lakes Fire Department, founded in 1929 and was located in Lake County (Colorado) which covered Mount Elbert, Twin Lake & Twin Lakes Village.

Twin Lakes Fire Department was originally founded as the Twin Lakes Volunteer Fire Department in 1929.

Leadville/Lake County Fire-Rescue (Colorado) took over the fire protection service.
