Norwood Fire Protection District

Norwood Fire Protection District (NFPD), located in San Miguel & Montrose Counties including the areas of Deer Mesa, Drycreek, Mailbox & Redvale.

Norwood Fire Protection District, established in 1953 and originally consisted of 70 square miles, in 2008 the district was expanded to an area of 380 square miles. The department is also known as the Norwood-Redvale Fire Department.

Norwood Fire Protection District is dispatched by Western Colorado Regional Dispatch Center.
