Southeast Weld Fire Protection District (SEWFPD), formed in 1954 and located in Weld & Adams Counties (Colorado) including the areas of Commanche Creek, Dearfield, Keenesburg, Keen Lateral, Lord Reservoir, Long Draw, Lost Creek, Lost Sand Creek, Lowline Canal, Masters, Prospect Reservoir, Prospect Valley, Riverside Reservoir, Roggen, Roy, Sand Creek, Schey Park, Slone, South Roggen, Tampa & Weld Central. Southeast Weld Fire Protection District coverers 492 square miles: 405 square miles in Weld County and 87 square miles in Adams County including significant portions of I-76, Highway 52 and Highway 79.
