Holyoke Emergency Medical Services (HEMS), serves the communities of Holyoke, Paoli, Amherst, and eastern Phillips County. HEMS’s staff is a combination of 10 EMTs, 5 paramedics, 4 registered nurses, and 6 medical first responders. HEMS is a division of Melissa Memorial Hospital.
