In 2020, the Adams County Park Ranger Service was formed within the Department of Parks, Open Space, and Cultural Arts. The Ranger Service of Adams County is multi-faceted and diverse in its duties and obligations with the primary responsibility of informing, educating, and protecting all those that visit the parks, trails, and open space areas, while at the same time, providing for the conservation and preservation of the county’s natural resources.
