Drexel Heights Fire District (DHFD), covering 60 square miles in Pima County (Arizona) including the areas of Camino Verde Estates, Critterland, Falcon Ridge, Gates Pass, Hidden Oaks, Midvale Park, Mountainside Village, Ryan Field, San Joaquin, Shadow Mountain Ranch, Starr Ridge, Tucson Estates, Tucson Mountain Ranch, Valencia Ranchos & Valencia West.

Drexel Heights Fire District originally began in 1954 as the Drexel Heights Community Association Volunteer Fire Department providing fire and emergency services to the south and southwest areas outside of the City of Tucson. In the early 1070’s the department began as the Drexel Heights Volunteer Fire District. In 2001 Drexel Heights Fire District merged with the Tucson Estates Fire District. 

Drexel Heights Fire District is dispatched by the Valley Emergency Communications Center.
