Golden Valley Fire District (GVFD), founded in 1975 covering 220 square miles and 80 square miles out of district, and is located in Mohave County (Arizona) including the areas of Clack Canyon, Cerbat, Drake, Grasshopper Junction, Griffith, Harris, McConnico, So-Hi, Praxair, Santa Claus, UniSource & Walnut Creek.

Golden Valley Fire District was originally the Golden Valley Volunteer Fire Company in 1975.

Golden Valley Fire District is dispatched by the Kingman 911 Communications Center.
