Alameda County Fire Department (ACFD), covering 508 square miles in Alameda County (California) including the areas of Castro Valley, Dublin, Emeryville, Newark, Hayward, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Livermore, San Francisco Bay, San Leandro, San Lorenzo, Sunol, Tracy & Union City.

Alameda County Fire Department was formed in 1993 with the consolidation of the the Castro Valley Fire Department, Eden Consolidated Fire Protection District and County Fire Patrol. San Leandro joined in 1995, Dublin in 1997, Newark in 2010, Union City in 2010 and Emeryville in 2012.
