Fort Dick Fire Department (FDFD), founded in 1952 and covering 30 square miles in Del Norte & Curry Counties (California) including the areas of Alderpoint, Kings Valley, Lake Earl, Lake Earl State Park, Pelican Bay, Smith River & Tolowa Dunes.

Fort Dick Fire Department has mutual-aid agreements with Brookings Fire Protection District, Crescent Fire Protection District, Gasquet Fire Protection District, Harbor Fire Protection District, Klamath Fire Protection District, Pelican Bay State Prison Fire Department, Pistol River Fire Protection District, Smith River Fire Protection District & Winchuck Fire Protection District.
