Santa Barbara County Fire Department (SBCFD), founded in 1926 and located in Santa Barbara County (California) including the areas of Buellton, Casmalia, Danta Ynez, Gaviota, Goleta, Goleta Valley, Isla Vista, Lompoc, Los Alamos, Los Padres National Forest, Mission Hills, New Cuyama, Orcutt, Reina, Santa Barbara, Santa Maria, Santa Maria Public Airport, Santa Ynez, Santa Ynez Valley, Sisquoc, Solvang, University of California & Vandenberg Village.

Santa Barbara County Fire Department, founded in 1926 as the Santa Barbara County Forestry Department. In 1956 the Forestry Department officially became the Santa Barbara County Fire Department. The Solvang Volunteer Fire Department merged with the department in 2007, and the Orcutt Fire Protection District merged in 2008.
